It is necessary to pre-register for all classes. 

Payment is due upon registration. When you register, please request a supply list for your class. Supplies are not included in class fees unless otherwise stated. Students receive a 15% discount on class supplies purchased here. We make a commitment to our teachers one week prior to class time. Therefore, no refunds will be made after that time.  If you have not paid for the class, you will be counted as a non-enrollment. In the event class is cancelled by the teacher, low enrollment or inclement weather (we follow Henrico County school closings), students who are registered and paid will receive a refund, store credit or may apply fees to another class. To prevent cancellations due to low enrollment, you are encouraged to register early.

It is very important to maintain a clean your embroidery machine. Proper maintenance will prolong the life of your machine and also help avoid problems with tension, needle breakage, bobbin issues. In this class, you will learn how to properly clean your hoops, machine parts, and surfaces from spray adhesives, needle & stabilizer knowledge.

In this class you will play with the bobbin works capability of your machine,  Using the bobbin works bobbin case and decorative threads, we will embellish an 18 1/2" square of fabric to make a beautiful pincushion  Learn the basic of your machine settings, how to wind specialty threads on your bobbin, and what types of threads work best with which stitches.  What fun!  This class requires a machine with a bobbin works bobbin case.

Are you looking for a fun, no-stress embroidery experience? Feel like all the good projects are just for those with jumbo hoops? Join the Kimberbell Club!  Each month we will do a In-the-Hoop project with a pre-cut kit. You will need to bring your embroidery machine, hoop, stabilizer and thread. Download the Supply list of the month for the correct thread colors to bring. Each month will feature a different technique that you can apply to lots of other In-the-Hoop projects.  This club is perfect for beginners and experienced embroiderers as well. You must sign up in advance to allow enough kit availability.

This is the class for you.  In this Basic Sewing I, 4 week session, you will learn how to use a sewing machine, sewing techniques and tips as well as making cute projects.  All supplies are provided and you will experience our fabulous Baby Lock Verve sewing and embroidery machines in class.

Class size is limited, so sign up early! This class is offered only as a series.  Session I will consist of 4 weeks and will be repeated quarterly.

Meeting on the 4th Saturday of the month, starting in January 2018!  This club will cover all things fun and Accuquilty!  You’ll get tips, techniques, see new product and be inspired by new ideas for all us ladies who are on the GO!  This first session you will have the opportunity to create a “Baskets Through the Year” Wall Hanging which is based on the Edyta Sitar’s Serendipity Qube.  You do not have to own the Qube to participate.  You will get the designs for two blocks each month and an extra project!  You can always catch up if you don't get in on the first class or if you miss one or two!  Club members will receive a membership card that will give special discounts on all GO! products.

All it takes is one Jelly Roll, forty two 2-1/2" fabric strips, 100% cotton batting and your sewing machine to make this fun area rug. The pattern is by Roma Quilts and is an adorable, colorful area rug. Finished size approximately 30" x 44".   No wrapping, braiding, weaving or crocheting. Just pure sewing bliss!

We have had a fee change for this club to make our bookkeeping easier and save you a few extra dollars!  We have been offering this class going on the sixth year.  Because there are so many new owners of embroidery machines (all brands, makes, models), the first hour of this class will focus on embroidery beginnings!  There is always alot of new information, products and techniques in the industry, so we will introduce the new and review the old tried and true during this time.  In the second hour, you will receive a project and lesson on how to make it.  As always, we will have free designs, product specials and always, special class discounts!
