Sergers can seem complex and sometimes a bit overwhelming, but these classes will help you go from the beginnings to advanced serger projects.

Serger Classes

Serger 101 with Gayla
Class Fee: $25
Learn to thread and understand the working parts of your serger and create a project. Be sure to pick up your supply list!

Serger Quilt with Gayla

Class Fee: $30   Beginner
Once it is pieced, it’s quilted!  Adapted for the serger, this reversible quilt-as-you-go lap quilt finishes in no time!  See supply list for pre-cutting fabric instructions.


Serger Preppy Tote Bag with Gayla
Saturday, August 14; 9:00am-2:00pm
Class Fee:  $25   Beginner
By combining fabrics and serger techniques, liked pieced fabric strips and gathered strips, this tote goes from preppy to chic. Be sure to pick up your supply list.

    • Class Policy

    Class registration is on a first come, first serve basis. You will only be notified if a class is cancelled.

    You may register by phone or in the store. Upon paying for your class, ask for your supply list. All classes must be paid in full at least two weeks before class date. Students will receive a full refund for cancellations up to one week before class date—store credit after that and absolutely no refunds within 24 hours of class.

    Classes that are cancelled due to low enrollment will be rescheduled if possible or refunded. Students receive a 15% discount on all purchases for class.
